The app MyInfoCert allows me to generate directly on my phone the OTP codes required to validate (together with my PIN) the use of my QES certificate.

The app’s function is equivalent to the OTP codes sent via SMS, and presents the advantage of being free of charge and indipendent from the the Internet.

I can download and install the app through Google Play and the Apple Store.

To activate the app it will be required of me to fill in the Username and Password blanks.

It is than necessary to verify the account by inserting the OTP code sent to the phone number registered in the InfoCert portal and set a 6 digit PIN code to protect app from unauthorized uses.

If the steps were followed correctly, I receive the confirmation of the correct activation of the app.

Whenever required of me, I will now be able to generate an OTP code simply by clicking on the Generate OTP button.

The OTP code generated (which will remain valid for 60 seconds), together with Username and Password, will allow for the authentication of the QES signature.
