Guide to Configuring Legalmail with Microsoft 2019
Open the Microsoft Outlook 2019 application.
The program will prompt an email address to configure.
To set up the mailbox using IMAP, it is sufficient to proceed without selecting the advanced options.
Click the Connect button and wait for the program to complete the configuration setup.
Proceed with the IMAP configuration by selecting the corresponding icon.
Microsoft Outlook displays a form where the required information for setting up the email account must be entered. The requested details define the server settings, including the server’s name, port, and required encryption method. Specifically:
Click the Next button and, when prompted, enter the access password for the Legalmail mailbox.
After verifying the password, Outlook confirms that the IMAP configuration was successful. Click the OK button, and the mailbox will be fully configured.
If the mailbox structure does not synchronize correctly or messages cannot be viewed in the Inbox folder, this can be resolved by right-clicking on the mailbox name and selecting IMAP Folders from the Inbox menu.
Clicking the Query button allows all folders within the webmail to be viewed.
It is possible to select all folders or choose only specific ones to make them visible in the email client by clicking the Subscribe button.
Correct and complete display of messages in the Inbox folder is possible after unchecking When Displaying hierarchy in Outlook, show only subscribed folders.
Then click on OK button.
Open the Microsoft Outlook 2019 application.
By selecting Add Account, the program will prompt for the email address of the mailbox to be added.
Click on Advanced Options and enable the checkbox Let me set up my account manually.
Click the Connect button and wait for the program to complete the configuration setup.
Proceed with the POP configuration by selecting the corresponding icon.

Before considering the email client configuration complete, a quick test should be performed by sending a message to the Certified Email (PEC) address.
