Guide to Updating the Remote Signing Certificate on MySign

Introduction

This guide is aimed at users with an InfoCert remote signature who have received this email. The procedure listed below shows how to update the signature certificate from the dedicated portal: MySign.

Login to MySign

First you need to log in to the signature portal by clicking on the "Log in to MySign" button.

You must enter your Remote Signature credentials (userID and password), then click on "Login".

If you have the MyInfoCert app, you can proceed with authentication - without entering the signature credentials - through the native function of the app (QR Code), or by scanning the QR Code on the screen inside it with the camera.

As indicated in the email received from InfoCert, you will be notified on the screen, as soon as you log in, that your signature certificate must be updated by the date shown in the window.

Click on "Request a new certificate" to immediately start the remote signature update procedure.

If you have closed the previous message window, know that you can proceed to update the signature certificate by clicking on the light blue bar ("Request new certificate") visible on the MySign dashboard.

Phase 1: Consents

  • tick the acceptance box of the general conditions of service;
  • enter your remote signature PIN.

Click on "Confirmation" to continue.

Phase 2: Confirm the operation

Enter the OTP code, received via SMS on the mobile number associated during registration for your remote signature, in the spaces indicated.

If the OTP expires, click on the "Send new OTP" button.

Click on "Confirmation".

Phase 3: Choose new PIN

Here you can enter the current remote signing certificate PIN or set a new one.

Click on "Confirmation" to continue.

Phase 4: Safety Information

Set the passphrase to open the PDF file (cd. Encrypted Envelope or ERC) that you will receive at the end of the procedure via email. With the passphrase you will be able to access the attached content where you will find the "Emergency Code". (*)

If you want, you can use your Fiscal Code as a passphrase by ticking the dedicated box.

Click on "Confirmation" to access the last stage of the update procedure.

At the end of the procedure, you will receive this type of email with a PDF file attached (cd. Encrypted Envelope or ERC).

With the passphrase you can open the contents of the file (PDF) attached to the email received. Here you will find the "Emergency Code" to request the suspension of the digital signature certificate from the InfoCert website.

Phase 5: Confirm the operation

To confirm the signing certificate update operation, enter the OTP code received via SMS.

Click on "Confirmation" to complete the procedure.

If no errors are found, the system will notify you on the screen that your new remote signature has been updated correctly!

Wait a few seconds to be redirected to the MySign dashboard or click on the "Back to home" button.
