How can I request a digital signature revoke?

Revocation is a procedure that modifies the validity of a digital certificate and makes invalid the signatures made after the revocation.

It involves the insertion of the certificate in the list of revoked and suspended certificates, called CRL.

The revocation of a certificate can be requested by the Owner or by a Third Part.

The Owner who needs or wishes to revoke a certificate can contact:

  • The Registration Office;
  • The Certifier, by PEC, fax or post, with a REVOCATION REQUEST and a photocopy of a valid identity document.

Attention: if you have an urgency (ex. theft or loss) or if you need, you can submit a suspension request, online or through the call-center.

The Third Part who needs or wishes to revoke a certificate can contact:

  • The Registration Office;
  • The Certifier, by PEC, fax or post, with a REVOCATION REQUEST and a photocopy of a valid identity document of the person who made the request.

Revocation requests sent by fax or mail are processed on Monday-Friday from 09.00 to 17.00.
